Disaster Capitalism: State of Extortion is a very interesting article about the global oil and food crisis by Naomi Klein, an award-winning journalist and syndicated columnist, and a reference in the anti-globalization movement. She is the author of the international bestseller The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism (September 2007); an earlier international best-seller, No Logo: Taking Aim at the Brand Bullies; and the collection Fences and Windows: Dispatches from the Front Lines of the Globalization Debate.

As you may have noticed Lokhus.com is looking diferent. I had been thinking about this redesign for a long time, but I wasn't able to make it happen due to the big workload I have since I'm a freelancer.

This weekend I was finally able to get a bit of time to dedicate to the much needed redesign of the website, and I dived into it.

Of course the first thing you'll have noticed is the visual change of the site. The main idea behind this visual change was to give more importance to the content, specially to the photographs. The previous design was very colorful and had many details that made you look outside the real content.

Apart from that, I've also made a few improvements in the site:

• You can now choose between three languajes. Basque is the default one.
• Each photograph and text page has now an indexable URL. Hopefuly Google will start indexing the pages soon.
• If I write a text in only one languaje, it only appears in the site for the users of that languaje.

There are few more technical details to talk about, but I don't want to sound like a freak, so I'll live it like this.
